'Phantasm' draws inspiration from 17th-century Dutch Golden Age still life paintings, using a contemporary photographic lens to explore themes of life, death, and the passage of time. Owls, often linked to the supernatural-representing the dead and transformation-, here, acts as a messenger between the terrestrial and spirit world. 'Phantasm' is part of the ongoing Onweacnan series which encompasses works of neovictoriana still life.
